Re: What Fuel Stabilizer do you use?

Every year Canadian Tire puts Fuel Stabilizer on sale. They have had it on twice so far in the last three weeks. They carry three flavours, Sta bil, STP and their own brand Motomaster. All three will probably be on sale given enough time. All have the same ratio of protection. When it is on sale gen...

Re: Sold my F32 yesterday

Hey Mike.
Excuse me Michael not the side track your post.
We have wondered where you were this year. First, surprised to see you back in our marina and several times we walked over to your slip to find no one home. As you were asked earlier, are you changing boats or interests?

Re: Sold my F32 yesterday

Never great to say good bye so instead I'll say congrats on your new direction.

We have crossed paths a few times on the Small Craft Route along the east coast of Georgian Bay and the Trojan flag I purchased from you still flys on the bow.

Be careful and enjoy where the bow takes you.

Re: led interior strip lighting

Make that two. Installed a 28' strip in the galley above the stove. Lit up both counter tops and the floor. Current draw is .04 amps. I first cut a strip of plexiglass slightly wider than and longer than the strip of LED's. This provided a clean smooth surface for the adhesive. I then screwed the pl...

Swim Platform

I have an opportunity to get a swim platform from a 2002 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge. I discovered this last night so this is my first step of research. I'm wondering if this is worth any effort to pursue. I can get to the Sea Ray to measure length and width, reliefs for trim tab rams etc. Based on pic...

Re: F-32 Stereo / Speaker ideas...

What I did for rear cockpit speakers was removed those two triangular pieces in the side walls where the walls meet the big glass cabin wall. I then built two triangular boxes about 4 inches deep. Their front faces are 5/16" teak covered ply. The ply is secured to the upper section of the box a...

Re: Hynautic Steering question

Rebuilding the helm unit is not difficult. Clean the bench ( table in the galley ) Lay everything out in an orderly manner and pay attention where everything goes. And once again I agree with Prowlersfish, I used less than a liter of oil. Fill the reservor to the proper level and pump the pressure t...

Re: Hynautic Steering question

I agree with Prowlerfish. I had to reseal the "pump" at the helm and the bleeding procedure was multiple turns of the steering wheel in both directions and bleed at the ram in the basement. That requires the assistance of the Admiral on the bridge.

Re: Calling F32 owners

Hey Mike. Did I stir you up with the mustrat story? If you find something down south post or PM me a picture and a price. We may both be after the same thing. Comodave's picture there looks dangerously like my tips. Looks like I will be making the drive either this weekend or next to get pics and me...

Re: F32 Exhaust Tips

Good Morning Gentlemen. Mike / Michael: Yes, I live in harmony as well, I pay my marina bills and don't complain about what does or doesn't happen ( unless it's really bad ). I have looked at that Hurley design and like it, but if I understand it properly and the bolt heads are on the inside of the ...

F32 Exhaust Tips

I am wanting to make screens or guards for the exhaust on the boat. We have had a few issues with muskrats in the marina these past two seasons. They made a home inside someone's covered dinghy. What a smelly mess that was! And this year got real close to home by crawling inside both exhausts of a S...

Re: How to remove bilge magnets.

You will find that manual on the top shelf of your library right beside the one marked "Safe Place". You know the "Safe Place". That's where all the stuff you cannot find goes. I must have put that in a safe place.
