Odd, I have my F25 insured for $5000.00 plus libility for $ 234.00 yr through Progressive?

Isn't a Tri cabin in the range of 32 to 36 feet? This insurance thing is puzzling having so many different amounts of insurance on boats I'd hate to lose if I owned it?

Wow,,,,the old Monomatic,,,,that brings back memories. :D How I wish I were younger or in better health, and knew then what I know now. If that were so, I would have always lived near a large body of water, then when something like this came along, I could take advantage of it. But for certain, I wo...

It's funny that when looking into different things, like boat insurance you find out different things. Boat US's insurance included $853,000.00 for fuel & oil clean up, I'll have to look and see if my Progressive does that. This is over and above recovery if the boat sinks. So, in my quest to fi...

BoatU.S.

Hi all, Just looked at Stripermann2 post on the burning boat and the mention of Boat US. I'm now in the process of switching to them for my insurance. On the self survey it says at the bottom of the form to call then about any questions you have about it. I did that yesterday and got a nice lady on ...

BoatU.S. insurance form

Hello all, Yesterday I received my insurance forms along with their quote. I must make out a SELF SURVEY FORM. On the form it ask many question about the boat, one being "how many Fire Extinguishers on board and their last inspection date? I did a Google search on inspections of fire extinguish...

You may give PROGRESSIVE insurance a call. I insure with them, and they did not request a survey. I just got a quote from Boats US, and they were cheaper, no survey, but really have to go through loops with them. They do require written forms to be made out about the boat, pictures, etc, sent to the...

MODIFICATIONS

Hi all, Have any of you done any major modifications to your boats cabin. Example,,,I was looking at the v berth today and was thinking of changing it to a single berth by removing the port side of the V, to allow extra space to be used. I was thinking of placing the fridge on the end of the counter...

De-winterized ours last weekend. This weekend got it in shape, washed and cleaned up. Next weekend will go on a shake down cruise to make sure the new raw water pump is OK, then we're all set for spring.

Spent most of today just sitting on her in the slip and thinking about last minute needs.

FRESH WATER PUMP

Hi all, As I said earlier in a post, I'm having trouble with my fresh water pressurized system. I am looking at this pump,,, SHURFLO 29010213 AQUA KING JR 12V 2.0 GPM PUMP Part Number 275-29010213 to replace the pressure system. One supplier said this is an "on demand" pump, and will turn ...

I tried several times yesterday using the 30 sec's on & off with no luck, if I did it right,,, First I opened the faucet, then started the pump,,,,30 sec's on (or so) then off for 30 sec's,,,repeated many times,,,,no water. By the way, the pump is mounted even as the 20 gal tank and the smaller ...
