Re: 10 meter deadrise?

I have mine mounted in the same location as Bob and have one on each side. I'm upgrading one this weekend and need to drill a larger hole in the same spot. I cut a 7/8" diameter x 2" long piece of wood and put that on to my 2" hole saw which acted as a guide going through the existing...

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.

Hey Todd, United Ignition Wire Corp makes a very nice upgrade kit. I deal with a large marine parts supplier that has sold hundreds of these over the last few years and they have had nothing but positive feedback. I just purchased two for my 10 meter and will be installing them in the spring. I'm ru...

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.

Hey Todd,
It's been a few months since I checked in the forum. Glad to see everything is progressing. My wife and I were just looking through your posts and pictures and it's bringing back some memories over the last few years. Can't wait to see that beautiful boat in the water!

Re: cutlass bearings

Hi. I posted a good method last year on Feb.2 using a hydraulic knockout set. The post was called: Easy Cutlass/Cutless Bearing Removal. http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7190&p=74455 I have the mid-cabin with the single bearing per side, but if you have access to this ty...

Hey RWS,
I've been out of touch with the forum the last few weeks. If you had any extra sets made, please let me know because I would like one if possible.

Re: 72C Velvet Drive freewheel in Neutral

Thanks for the input guys. I could get up to a few knots just in neutral and it makes docking a challenge sometimes, although I learned to compensate for it quite well this past season. I had to keep water pouring onto the shaft and cutlass bearing too when winterizing. Without any drag, it spins at...

72C Velvet Drive freewheel in Neutral

Hope everyone is doing well. Hey Bob D., I saw your youtube video on this exact same issue. What did it end up being? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm guessing at least two of the forward clutches are stuck together or one is warped a little and grabbing on to the next one? I just had it rebuil...

Re: TROJAN YACHT BURGEE / PENNANT TIME AGAIN

I just sent money for one more flag today and saw this post saying there are no more left.
Any chance I can still get one? Are you planning on running another batch? I don't think you'll have any problem selling them.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Mike

One more....approx. 25 3/8" from top of platform to bottom of rub rail.
I took a picture seeing that the rail angles a little downward.

Re: 10 meter mid cabin swim platform help needed

Ok Todd, here you go.
27 1/2" from top of platform to top of rail.
36 7/8" from water line to top of rail.
The top of the platform lines up even with the top edge of the rudder cover.
Let me know if you need other dimensions.

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.

Todd, I just replied on your swim platform post and will have measurements today. I'm sorry to hear the bad news. If I lived a lot closer, I'd be more than happy to lend you a hand to get her ready for April. I hope all goes well until then.
Take care,
Mike
