What Do You Think About this 10.8 Meter?

Here’s my situation….Had a survey on a 1990 Trojan 10.8 Meter last Saturday. The surveyor thinks it was damaged by hurricane Sandy and said I should pass on this boat. He showed me some sand/pebbles up on the flybridge inside of the instrument panel…..and he questioned this. He found a very li...

Re: Looking at 1990 Trojan 10.8 Sedan

Prowler.... I did see the ad for the 11 Meter Sedan down in Delaware City Marina. I sent an e-mail and also called and left message, but I haven't heard from anyone. I also called the lady who owns the 10 Meter down in Norfolk, VA. She invited me to come down and take a look at it. It does look nice...

Re: Looking at 1990 Trojan 10.8 Sedan

Prowler.... I'm sorry....You're right, I completely forgot you have to Log In to see the pics on POP's site. I created a bogus fake e-mail just for their site because of their tracking. I do know about the other (2) 10.8 Meters being auctioned by Certified Sales, Inc. I believe both of them were sub...

Looking at 1990 Trojan 10.8 Sedan

Hello Everyone, I went the other day up to Long Island to look at this 1990 10.8 Meter Sedan. As usual, I value your thoughts and opinions. If you have a second, can you take a quick look at the ad posted on POP Yachts. https://www.popyachts.com/trojan-108-meter-sedan-sportfish-convertibles-boat-for...

Re: Inverter Question

Hello All..... Sorry for the delay....just wanted to give a quick update on what happened. Well, I had the survey. A very knowledgeable person who is SAMS certified ....and also happens to have an "electrical" background. The owner was there also, as he was supposed to drive the boat for t...

Re: Inverter Question

UPDATE : I'm scheduled for a Survey/Seatrial next week on July 5th, Sunday. Kinda excited about it....and little nervous too. Spoke with the surveyor on phone for a bit and he too was concerned about the inverter set-up. He definitely will see if it meets ABYC and NFPA standards with this design. On...

Re: Inverter Question

Prowler….my intended use is to fish the Delaware Bay and also I’m located at the mouth of the Maurice River ...so probably fish for Perch with my two boys 8 & 6 if the Bay is a little too rough. I work a lot of hours , so I will probably use it most weekends and couple days during the week. ...

Re: Inverter Question

Wow…. I think I regret posting this e-mail. My intentions were not to get anyone upset or perturbed. I’ve been on this forum almost 4 years now reading a lot of amazing information and advice. Maybe his e-mail was just a tab bit egotistical and arrogant? I really love this boat….it took me a f...

Re: Inverter Question

Hello…. I want to thank you all for excellent input and advice! I was basically thinking the same thing, but I guess I just wanted to hear it from the Trojan forum. Yorklyn….you are correct, it is an Onan 6.5, my mistake. It really perturbs me because it took almost 2 years to find this boat. It...

Inverter Question

Hello Trojan Forum, Well, I’m about to pull the trigger on a 1985 10 Meter Sedan Convertible. I and the surveyor are just trying to figure out a good time for both of us to do the survey/sea trial. Anyway, during the period when I was looking at the boat until a few weeks later when I made an offe...

Hey Gang.... Just a quick update on the 1990 Trojan F-32. I went to go see it, it's actually in someones back property on some "river" somewhere near Annapolis . (I'm not allowed to say where). Anyway....the name of the boat is "SOMEONE SPECIAL". It's not in bad shape, just a lit...

F-32 in Annapolis, MD area

Hello Trojan boat owners!! Pleased to meet your acquaintance! I'm wondering if there are some Trojan owners in the Maryland area who may be able to help me. Currently, I've tracked down a Trojan that I think I would like to pursue , and possibly get serious about buying. She sits at Liberty Marina i...
