Welcome aboard! I just picked up a 1973 F25 and we are getting her ready for the Gulf Of Mexico here in Florida. I had the orange counters of the same vintage-love those 70's! My next door neighbor is a cabinet guy and hew is hooking me up with new laminate job. We are also repowering her now. Can't...

We have power! Thanks!!
Thanks to everyone for the input we received on the repower of our new F25. It was very helpful and we learned a lot! We were able to buy a fresh reman 318 block and a good running complete takeout 318 for a very, very reasonable cost from a local business. We want to use all the best of the parts a...

Repower space constraints on our F25-now what?
Well it seems the engine area is kind of tight on our F25. We have been taking a closer look at our boat and are wondering if trying to fit a 350 crusader will require a major modifications to the boat. The current 318 Chrysler seems to fit like a glove! We want to have a fairly straight forward ins...

how do you determine if the "take out motor is good?&qu
I understand that the used parts are just "used" but if we have a parts & labor warranty with a reman it must be worth something on the block? Providing of course that we are dealing with a reputable company. It seems like the other stuff we can replace easier if necessary-especially i...

How does this sound?
The cost of a complete brand new 350 motor is out of the question but it sure would be nice. However the stars are starting to align for our motor! Our marine mechanic has offered up any parts we want off a recent re power! He has 2 x 350 gm motors that came out of a chris craft. I am sure we can sc...

GM vs Chrysler power-recommendations please help!
We have decided to go with a new remanufactured motor for our F25, not being very mechanically inclined we liked the idea of a warranty as well. We were considering replacing our 318 Chrysler with another one or possibly the Chrysler 360 for a little more performance. The problem is now a good marin...

Looking for repower advice on F25
We just picked up a 1973 F25 and it has a siezed up 318 in it. Was considering a little more horsepower. The boat will probably be well loaded most of the time and I would like decent performance without heavy fuel expenses. I have heard the Chrysler 360 is about the same size and should fit in easi...
