Re: F28 must go do to health issues.
Donating it is what I have in mind if I can find an association in N TX to remove it from the water and haul it away at their expense. Oh, it IS in very decent shape. Hull is very good, dry inside, and zero soft spots. Flybridge controls all work as do salon contols. I've removed most of the POs rid...

My apologizes for not posting in the appropriate section. My bad......sorry. I'll probably pull her out a scrap her instead, can't afford to keep the enclosed slip.

F28 must go do to health issues.
Anyone interested in my F28, etc. please PM me. Hull good and sound, engines clean and sound. Numerous new parts.
Health and associated costs are the reason.
Thanks for all the ideas and great help up on this forum.

I had that same 220 bpm issue and also had my heart stopped on a couple of occasions in the hospital (on purpose) and had the paddles too. Finally, got the abaltion procedure, up through both legs like you mention. WOW...painless, no more rapid heartbeats and skipping. Think positive! I now feel GRE...

Draining Fuel Tank
What is the safest way to drain out an F28 fuel tank? Currently it has about 25 gal of gas in it. I think I have crud clogged in the tank. I have my thoughts, but I've never drained an inboard. I don't want to become a "news story". Thanks.

I have a Carter remote mount electric fuel pump here in the garage. I should probably set it up on the dock (away from the boat) on a stand w/a battery and pump out the fuel from that starboard tank and then pull the sender and take a look inside with my LED flashlight. I'd run the fuel into 5 gal c...

Good point Larry........I'll check the condition of the vent hoses and make sure my vents are not filled with mud daubers, then address as needed. As for starting with ether, I respectfully pass on that one. If I coax and coax the thing and hold the throttle at 3/4 open, it may start but screams for...

Final Idle Fix ??
After having the starboard engine not even wanting to start at all now, I've replaced the metal inline fuel filter, added a new 10 micron canister filter as was recommended to me on this forum, replaced the fuel line from the fuel pump to the distribution manifold back at the transom with marine A1 ...

LED Light Recommendations
Salon 12v overhead lights are very yellowed and dim. Any recommendation/experience with LEDs that have a reasonable light angle and output would be appreciated. Thanks

The black can part seems to be much shorter. I have to be a contortionist just to be able to see it. I thought it might be a Fram HGCP1 or something similar. Any ideas about the IN/OUT directions? Most every other system I've seen has IN as supply side and OUT towards fuel pump. I have no idea if th...

Morse Controls
While working under the flybridge instrument panel, I bumped the Morse shift levers on top. I noticed the mechanism under the panel flexed all over the place. Question, below the detent "fulcrum" there is a bracket that is somewhat L shaped right in the center of the mechanism. There is a ...

318 Fuel Filter
I cleaned off the top of the fuel filter cansiter and can only see it says Fram. Its a canister type, orange top, black canister. Does anyone know if this is original and the part number? Also both have fuel line coming from tank going to the OUT side and to the fuel pump from the IN side of the fil...
