My 84 11 Meter

Hey everyone and Happy New Year, My 1984 Trojan 11M is in the for sale section. If anyone's interested or if anyone wants to tell a friend, it's 20k for the boat to the forum group. I'll be putting it in Boat Trader next week sometime, just wasn't sure if this was appropriate, so I apologize if it's...

Re: fuel tank 11 mt international

I believe that's the waste tank you're looking at. The fuel hold is not visible from the engine hold.

Re: Tranny update on my mid cabin

Bill, Take the time and expense to backflush all the coolers, the procedures are laid out clearly in the Crusader engines shop manual for your stuff. I believe there are also some threads on here about the backflush procedures as well. The cooling line off the elbow to the shaft tends to get incredi...

Re: Does anyone know the shipping height

Bill, I don't think it's quite 11 feet, but if it's a run of more than in the neighborhood, the arch and at least the electronics should come down as they really get some sway to them at highway speeds and can start some other trouble. I've had more than my fair share of transporters show up with sh...

Re: thank god for survey's

My 11 Meter is and remains for sale, and is turnkey. It will survey as good as the best it's age. It is listed on this site as the 1984 11 Meter Express in Rock Hall Maryland. It is also listed on Boattrader although the link is not doing it's thing. I remain a motivated seller. Had a blast on it th...

Modified belt size

Does anyone have part or size numbers for a belt that's about .75-1.5" smaller than the CRU96745 that goes on the CH350 alt/wpump/crank? I'm trying to avoid removing a belt to take with me but cannot find the length of the CRU96745 online. They're 1984 CH350 454's Thanks for the help James Wall...

Re: What to do about old fuel in tank???

Build a fuel polishing system, or pay someone to do it once every other season. With todays fuels it is some of the best maintenace cost dollars you can spend.

Sellers premium for my 11 meter

Hey all, As some of you may know, the market for used 25+ year old boats is pretty slow, and pretty small. I have my 84 11 meter express listed in the for sale section and although it's had lots of views, it remains for sale. While not desperate to sell her, I have a couple of projects in the works ...

I have restored her, inside and out. It took two years of weekends. The bank and LAB had it listed for 14k, not 8, and it needed a makeover, which it got. I now use it with my one off 1974 Anacapri 20' center console (Done at the same time as the Trojan, lots of fun) and a Scout 262 Sportfish. At 86...

Tragedy for sure, that ship had twin CAT diesels and an experienced captain, who got taken down by three things that went wrong at the same time. He should not have left port as he had to have been well aware of Sandy's forecast. I do not speculate this to be the cause, but if any of you go bluewate...

Couple extra springlines and some zip ties on the canvas zippers. Little boat up on the trailer. Fall fishing just took off this week for me in the Bay, so my fingers are crossed that it 's not disrupted for too long.

Best offer before winter of 12 haul out and it's yours.

The A/C has taken a dump, it works but will not hold freon, pretty sure a line inside the R/W cooling has split.

Where else to post for sale?

Hi all, Could I please get some feedback on some other sites where you've had luck selling your boats in the past 2 years or so? I'm listed here , BTrader and occaisionally in Craigslist here in DC/Annapolis/Baltimore MD. Ebay, POP Yachts, iboats and Yachtworld really don't interest me, just wonderi...
