Re: plumbing the 10 Meter holding tank
Check out uniseal fittings. They are a large rubber grommet type fitting that allows you to hole saw the tank top and push pvc pipe or pvc pipe fittings through to make a water tight seal. I used one of these to fix the broken vent fitting on my ten meter express holding tank last year. The company ...

Re: Internationals: How Dry Are Your Bilges?
My forward bilge is the only one that really collects water. Although I have drilled a drain hole through the liner in the lazarette so all of the rain water drains to the forward bilge. The port engine room bilge is dry because the pipe that connects it to the center bilge through the stringer isn'...

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.
I have been looking at that same flip - flop style helm seat and really like it especially for the price. My PO removed all the original seating and I now have a single helm chair on a pedestal. Please post lot's of pictures if you get one of these as this is definitely on my list of projects for th...

Re: Looking for radar arch
Hey Capt Bob,
I don't mean to hijack this thread but where are you ordering the hardtop from and how much are they charging you? I would love to see some pictures of the install. I'm thinking about getting one soon for my 87 10 Meter Express.

Re: 10 Meter Express Cabin Door Help
John, thanks so much for the pictures. That's just what I was looking for. Bimmerbill, that's a great idea about forgoing the slider wheels. I can just machine some delrin to a tee shape that fits the opening on the c channel I get.
Thanks Again,
Scott

Re: 10 Meter Express Cabin Door Help
Thanks RWS, I would love to see a picture of what the original parts look like. I will definitely contact beacon first. I think I may have found an alternative method here: http://www.boatoutfitters.com/boat-sliding-door-hardware.html. The boat was located in Cutler Ridge in South Miami. There wasn'...

10 Meter Express Cabin Door Help
Since I purchased my boat last year the one thing that has continually bugged me is the cabin door arrangement the po had installed. It's very nice workmanship but it is the only piece of teak on the entire boat and it just doesn't fit. So last night I purchased the original lexan cabin door of a ju...

Re: 10 Meter Fuel Pump Issue Solved
Yeah, it was a lot of fun changing it out in this lovely south florida August weather. But the payoff was that I got to make it to the big raft up the next day.

10 Meter Fuel Pump Issue Solved
Since I purchased my 10 Meter Express last year the starboard engine has started to bog at anywhere from 3300 to 3500 rpm. I had changed the fuel filter and checked the non-return valve at the fuel tank, but neither had any affect on the bogging issue. It wasn't really a big deal for me as I don't n...

10 Meter Express Mystery Leak
I just re-launched the boat again this week after reparing what I thought was the only leak I had. There was a leak at the outboard v-strut backing plate on the port side. http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p513/whooligan6969/EBFFEDD5_zps5b3b79b1.jpg I just assumed this was the only spot it was lea...
