To that end, what all is required to go to EFI? My boat is an 81 with twin Chrysler 440's. I may, at some point consider a repowering, and thought of EFI, but have little idea what is involved.

Congrats. Those are a nice boat. I looked at an 88 Sedan myself. Looks nice, but the interior on this one was in really shabby state, and all the upholstery on the flybridge was falling apart. I will be moving it sometime within the next week or so. Then moving aboard in December. Given that winters here are usually mild I will do some puttering around on the Frasaer River now and then.
