Re: Port Engine Power Loss

Anti Siphon valves clogging up with gummed up gas. Probably have gummed up gas in your tank and it is breaking loose and clogging up that anti siphon valve. I have had that same exact problem that you are having all year and every time it is that valve clogging up with old gas residue. I clean it ou...

Check the evaporator fins and ensure they are clean and not full of dust.
Don't usually find dust out in the middle of a lake :)

Re: Hynautic steering hoses 11 Meter Express

Thanks for the link. After reading the manual it looks like they are 1/4" NPT pipe fittings. Nothing special.

Thanks again.

Hynautic steering hoses 11 Meter Express

I am getting ready to install my autopilot which essentially bypasses the reservoir tank with and electrically operated pump (Raymarine). I was looking at the reservoir and without unscrewing any of the fittings yet was trying to figure out what size hose and type of fittings I am going to need. Boa...

Re: Finally got my new Trojan!

I love the 11 meter express, very nice boat! It appers to be in great shape ! If you get a moment I would love to hear how you like the Raymarine chartplotter. I think thats what I'm getting for next season but I would love to hear from someone who has actually used one. So far I love the Raymarine...

Re: Finally got my new Trojan!

Thanks Aaron, I will be setting this up for fishing and will post more pics as I get it set up. As of right now boat is pretty much 100% original. The previous owner kept every document ever related to this vessel. He even saved the 1989 and 1990 marketing brochures for the entire Trojan lineup. I t...

Re: What to do about old fuel in tank???

Just got the boat delivered yesterday and I think I am going to be in great shape. The boat was Below "E" on the gauge and my guess is that it had less than 20 gallons in it. I added fuel treatment and 110 gallons of fresh 91 octane with no ethanol :) So far she is purring like a kitten.

Finally got my new Trojan!

Last Fall I made an offer on a 1990 11 Meter International Express. Boat was too nice to pass up. Single owner, fresh water only, very low engine hours (Crusaders) and only 117 hours on the generator. Had to wait until this Spring for Survey. Survey was completed, a few items had to be corrected and...

I might swing by this weekend and poke around. I'll look for you if I make it over. Just found out I close on my new Trojan on Monday.

Re: What to do about old fuel in tank???

If it's real gas run it, just dont run her hard and fast till you burn it up. It wont take long to burn 200 gallons at say 15 knots. Bring her up on plane slow and enjoy the only free gas you'll ever see.... if it's corn gas get it out of your tanks and start fresh...imho.. It's 10% Ethanol....

I just signed up with TowboatUS unlimited for $67.00 a year. How could I not sign up for it? You going to be on fingerlakes or Lake O?

Re: What to do about old fuel in tank???

Those are all great ideas. Not sure if I have duel tanks or not??? Have not had the boat delivered and didn't think of it at survey time. I could use a combo of all of those ideas. Thanks guys. BobCT - That is exactly what I am worried about. The Crusaders have just over 350 hours and I don't want d...

Re: Trojan F 36 came today-dfg4240

Nice Boat! Congrats. What town do you live in? Why not keep it up in Sodus and fish the big lake???? I live just about equal distance from Barretts, Sodus, and Cayuga Lake marinas that are down in Union Springs. I fished all three Lakes a lot and now prefer to chase the big dogs up in Lake O out of ...
