Re: 36 tri-cabin fuel tanks

You can get the manual from beacon (listed near the top of the forum) . I think the tank question was answer on the other thread by Rickland

Re: tri cabin

I remember the aft cabin as having the gas tank under the bed. starboard side had 4 large mirror doors. inside was a cedar lined hanging closet some draws and shelving. at the foot of the bed was an entertainment system...tv radio. port side had a upper cabinet with strip lights a counter top and a...

Re: 36 tri-cabin fuel tanks

Are you trying to ID the fill or the tanks ? (fillers are normally labeled ) Hopefully some one with the rear engine tri will chime in . later mid engine tri's would be different . You can also get a owners manual from Beacon marine .

Re: Looking For Trojan 1992-2003 Express For Sale

Most ( not all ) of us here are pre 92 ( pre Carver ) Beacon marine the site sponsor only has the pre Carver info . But maybe you'll get lucky and someone may have the info. You may also look at the 11 or 12 meters but they would be older the what you may want .

Re: Diesels The perfect engines or not ?

Yes, assumptions were made in order to avoid being pedantic.... But LOL! maybe Pascoe was anti-diesel because of his direct experience with them! I don't hate roller furlers, but maybe that's because I never used one.... Pascoes quotes and my take "That's why the old 6-71 Detroit Diesel will run da...

Re: Diesels The perfect engines or not ?

D-i-e-s-e-l. It's how you spell "pre-pay your gasoline bill." When I repowered, I looked at going diesel. You know, just for grin$. I would have had to use my gas boat at a rate way more than I ever have to date, and for the rest of my natural (boating) life just to break even. The only part that m...

Looks like a Ray-Line , even tought Trojan did not mount it . It is a aftermarket pulpit , a nice one at that . Beacon has parts . I assume you took it a part . Is it working other wise ?

Welcome and congrats . Just to let you know you do not have a V-Drive . You do have a inline velvet dive transmission . The last year of the V-Dives in the Tri was 77 or 78 .

Re: Updating a Trojan F36 - Question of weight balance aftwards

Congrats on the F36 . Sounds like big project . It is true the F36 likes weight aft . In fact when you bought one you had to get rear fuel tanks and or the generator . The hollow keel has not been a really issue on the F36 ,like it was on some F32s and F30s but its possible . While your rudder assem...

Re: F36/Tri cabin exhaust question.

I assume its because Trojan did not want to run the exhaust thru the aft cabin , they did the same on the F40 . Maybe Bob knows or can find out for sure .
