Velvet Drive "5000 Series" 20-01-001
Lost my stbd transmission. Burned up - Gears and all (they say).
What do you think a rebuilt velvet drive "5000 Series" 20-01-001 (1:1, 8deg down angle) should cost?

Re: Borg Warner, Velvet Drive ( How to check oil level)
Good evening everyone! Haven't been on the Trojan forum for a while. Hope everyone is doing well! My wife has been battling cancer for 4.5 years, but is doing well on two trial drugs (13th rounds of chemo), and we're back in action! We fly to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas every 4 weeks now for 2 yea...

Re: Hello from Charleston, Window Tint
Good morning and thank you for the support and advice. Yes, it is a life changing, and we have a new perspective and appreciation of life. as for the tint, the prices are way up with the improved economy it seems. We took down the annoying mimi-blinds, and need shade, but mostly privacy. The window ...

Hello from Charleston, Window Tint
Hello, How is everyone? I haven't been on this board (or on the Trojan) for months now... After 3-1/2 years of treatment, including 3 surgeries and 15 rounds of different chemotherapy, my wife's cancer (in stage 4) is finally getting a better. We've re-assessed our life (spend a lot of it in Houston...

Will do - we've just been so busy with medical issues.
We haven't been on an overnight cruise in 3 years - but looking much prettier at the dock

Finally mounted my new radar arch and wiring the Nav light. Lots more to do, but it looks great.

Has anyone replaced the floor on their F32 or F36 bridge?
Mine is spongy, so I'm planning to ear it all off and start over. Would love any tips...

Re: F32/F36 Upper Station Console
Wow - 4 F32s?
If I bought another bat (5 now), it would be instant divorce but thanks for the tip!
Just need an 80s helm (and time to work on it) ... will call the 2 numbers that I have been sent, just been busy ...
Sorry to see all the northern boats getting hauled.

Re: F32/F36 Upper Station Console
The one Prowlerfish posted appears exactly the same as the one on my junk 77 F28 that is almost stripped clean. The seat is in the front. Come get it you can have it. Larry, I REALLY appreciate the offer, but its not much different from what I have now, other than not have the aft facing seat on th...

Re: F32/F36 Upper Station Console
Yes, that 78 is my helm with the built-in aft facing seat removed.
I really want something where I can mount electronics, etc. like the 80's upper helm consoles.
I'll have to add a U-Joint to the steering shaft...
