Re: Minor tweaks to my boat
does the livewell pop into the layette area? I've been looking for a picture of the factory livewell just to see how they did it.

Re: Crusader 454 troubleshooting question
Choke plate goes vertical when the engine is warmed up. It's closed when cold, so I believe the choke is working as intended. Motor starts and runs fine, but once warmed up idle gets rough and it looses maybe 100 RPM or so. I put new fuel lines and Racor filters on at the beginning of the season and...

Re: Crusader 454 troubleshooting question
Thanks, will check the choke. Its a Q-jet with the spring loaded choke. I cleaned the spring up and lubed it at the beginning of the season. Will take a look tho, thanks!

Crusader 454 troubleshooting question
Hello all, wondering if you can help out a bit and point me in the right direction. My starboard Crusader 454 started running very poorly at idle on the way back in from a cruise. It almost sounds like its missing, sort of like a Harley motor sound. If I increase the throttle it runs great. I notice...

Re: Minor tweaks to my boat
Nice, I wonder if it was a separate option from the transom seats? I don't have them and I never thought of something like that, but I bet they would be great. Thanks for posting the picture. I may have to make something like that over the winter.

Re: What carburetor for a crusader model 350?
I thought I read that the Edlebrock Carbs give much better fuel economy. Must have been on the Crusader forums, or maybe here. I was considering swapping, but spent all my boat cash on other projects this year.

Re: Minor tweaks to my boat
Cool picture! I don't have the wetbar so its good to see one in case I want to build one.
I have the two long transom seats, but it looks like you have 2 smaller benches along the gunnels as well. Are these stock? Or did you add them?

Re: Hynautic Steering Question
My lines are on the "fix" list too. Will be watching the thread to see what everyone's recommendation is. I seem to have a mix of black rubber like lines (where it goes thru the engine room bulkhead) and copper lines thru the layette to the pump/filter/reservoir (not sure what it is).

Re: 10 Meter 454 losing power
Here is a pic of my fuel tank original fittings. Can't remember which was the anti siphon, but think it was the last fitting prior to the flare fitting. I replaced both of mine since I also replaced all fuel lines with A1 hose and added Racor fuel filters. Your fuel filters are OK? How about the lit...

My logos are identical to the ones on your boat.
