Re: New Trojan Express owner
I am seriously looking a two 1988 10 meter express Trojans. The person that will perform the survey has expressed concern. He states that this model is prone to water absortion in the stringers and bulkheads. How much truth is there in this topic. We will need some additional details. I'm sure some...

Re: Share a photo of your trojan
Awesome. I drove my 10 meter up there in the fall just to check it out. That canal is a little hairy! It was a nice ride though. We keep ours on Chittanago Creek.AlphaJustin wrote: ↑Sat Mar 24, 2018 10:12 am Caughdenoy Marina just off Oneida on the barge canal (very quiet, extremely friendly, and dirt cheap just like my ex-wife) hahaha

I put 8 phone calls and 3 emails in to Florida Marine Tanks and never got a response. I ended up repairing my aluminum tank instead of replacing it and having to get measurements.

I've been staring at that thing for months on craigslist in syracuse. I have no interest in owning it, but there's a part of me that wants it just to play with. $1200 is cheap! i think its down in cooperstown.

10 Meter Midcabin 4 Blade Props
I'm looking to score some 4 blades for the midcabin. I know a few on here have upgraded already and I am curious of specs. The general consensus is that more transom lift should make for a better cruising attitude. I've scoured about every midcabin owners threads and haven't found an real specifics....

Re: 10m radar arch pics
Great share as always Bob. This may be on my list of projects. My old Faruno might be coming off and then I will pull the arch for a rebuild. My list is way too long now that the mechanicals are all set.
And that damn light has to go!

Indeed. He had the cockpit and cabin redone by a well respected upholstery shop in his area and it shows. The engines both started instantly from cold, as did the generator. No evidence of leaks and the bilge is clean. No vibrations or strange noises coming from the transmissions and smooth shiftin...

Re: Photobucket revoked third party hosting (photo linking)
Interesting thought about Beacon having to pay for hosting photos. I have been storing mine on the forum because that way, they will be there as long as the forum exists. On another forum that I have been active on, I have been hosting the photos on a personal hosting account that I no longer care ...
