basically.. design. .The hemispherical combustion chambers create better thermal and volumetric efficiency. Thus, the engine can create more power without increasing compression. Valve placement improves efficency, too.
ok.. so my brother was able to make the trip up to see this boat.. ..although its near the end of season.. Hes got his commercial captains papers for great lakes.. The engines purr.. lots of power... , boat tracks true,, however, he states it seems one engine sits higher in the bilge than the other....

Yes, FG hull. Plywood decks from stem to stern. Vinyl-covered plywood superstructure. Personally, I think this original Tri-Cabin is the prettiest design, but big big project to replace any bad wood. And they all have bad wood someday! Yup.. thats the one.. could it be considered a hybrid? lol Fear...
Have not ruled out the F32 yet, but this came up.. clean , nice brightwork on the decks, etc..

ironically..
