So, Rick, does this mean that you have cancelled, or will be cancelling the order? Or, is it still being worked on?

Many thanks, pilgrim32. I'm going up there tonight, and will check things out with this layout in mind.

Thx for the reply.

Dash layout question

Need some help with the switches on my lower helm - only a few are labelled, and am curious about the rest. None of them seem to do anything, but would like to know what they are supposed to do before poking around. As per below, it’s a ’79 30’ flybridge (not completely sure what the model is,...

Mine works, but it's on the lower helm, so I usually don't use it much. If the g/f is driving, sometimes I'll drop down and synch them up.

If your tachs are fairly accurate, you can judge by them.

Re: DOCKING HELP

..The dockhands cleat my bow leaving me to pull my stern in with the shifters.. Sounds like you are doing it correctly. The only thing may be that the front line is too tight, which won't allow the boat to pivot. There should be enough slack to allow the stern to come in as you power it. Then it ca...

Newbie handling question

Hi, need a few tips on handling - I have heard that on twin-screw boats, you can get the boat to move sideways by judicious use of the trannys and rudders. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, and figured before I did, I'd ask how. I'm sure there are some handling gurus out there who can explain th...

Carter AFB adjustments

Hi all; Have a '79 F30 with the 318s and Carter AFBs. I need to adjust the idle mixture and speed. The only reference to these adjustments I can find are a simple diagram showing the mixture screws and the speed screw. I have read somewhere that to adjust the mixture, the screws are turned IN for RI...

Is it 3" on starboard, or 1.5" on each side? When the port rudder is straight, the rear of the starboard is pointing about 3" to the right. If I even them up, they would likely be 1.5" each. Maybe it isn't an issue, but any other boat I see has both rudders appearing to be fairl...
