This plate will be by the AC DC panel or inside a door. Or find the TRJ number on the stern starboard side stamped into fiberglass. From one or the othe...

IF THERE IS WATER AROUND THE RUDDER POSTS THEN REMOVE ALL THE WATER AND INSPECT THE BOLTS FOR WATER SEEPAGE. IF YOU FIND SEEPAGE OF WATER THEN TRY TIGHTENING THE BOLTS. IF THIS DOES NOT STOP SEEPAGE THEN WE WOULD SUGGEST REPLACING THE NYLON BLOCKS.

YES THAT IS CORRECT.
IF YOU THINK THE WATER IS COMING FROM THE RUDDERS YOU COULD TRY TIGHTENING UP THE BOLTS ON BOTTOM. THEY SCREW INTO A BACKING PLATE. IT SHOULD BE EASY TO TELL IF WATER IS COMING IN FROM RUDDER BOLTS SINCE THAT AREA SHOULD BE ALWAYS DRY WHEN BOAT IS NOT UNDERWAY.

The 10 meter had a nylon block in the bottom 1 1/4 and also 1 3/8 The most common in 1983 was 1 3/8 it is 3M 5200 in place and it is a kind of nylon that swelled a little to make a seal. On the top was a nylon washer. There is no packing. The only reason for changing the nylon block or washer would ...

The wood supports are oak. The stainless steel part is NA and your best answer is what others have have said to get it had at a machine shop or metal fabricator.

Yes, if your engines are RWC then yes the manifolds would be as well. But all the Crusader 454 that Trojan sold were all closed systems. If the 454 you have are all RWC then someone removed the exchangers and turned them into RWC engines. So if that is the case then the manifolds should be changed o...

Best choose is Ossco

Barr is you best option price wise since Barr comes with most of the gasket you need for each part. Note that your manifolds are part of the closed system and most of the time do not need to be changed. The risers and elbows are were the problems starts since these are raw water cooled. If you would...

Here is the real story on F 30

I just finished the repair work on this F 30. The repair work included new struts, rudder, rudder ports and tiller arms and a bunch of other stuff to put her back together. In all my 30 years or more of marine repair I have never seen anything like this. When I showed this to John Leeds he also had ...
