(Bow up ) On Trojan Internationals planing is 5 1/2 degrees (runs up hill) On smaller F boats F-25 and F-26 (single screw) slow spreed ...

Re: U-boat 13 Meter
Prowersfish is correct. If the hull was not damaged then there is no way for the water to get into the coring.

The difference between a express, sedan and the sportfisher in the F series”
Let’s use an F-32 as a example: -- The F-32 "Express" Model 320 had a smaller fly-bridge larger cabin, the engines were shoved back to give more cabin space, taffrail and no patio door. -- The F-32 Sedan model 321 had a patio door and smaller cock pit, larger salon and a taffrail around th...

Re: dripless shaft seals
It should be noted that in most every Trojan Model the shaft seal hard hose acts as a intermediate bearing.
If asked we never recommend replacing the shaft seal with any type of dripless packing that has a flexible hose.

Chrysler Top Hat Thermostat
We often get asked about how the top hat thermostat works and is installed. Here are a few pictures. Note: Inside the thermostat housing is a seal -- that seal must be in good condition. If not, you will need to replace the housing. We have the Top Hat thermostat gasket and the thermostat housing in...

Re: 1976 Chrysler 318 CW and CCW distributors
Both distributors are the same. The clockwise 318/360 has a collar which keeps the distributor drive gear in place. Without the collar, it would ride up and wear the cam gear as it would not be fully engaged. Engine direction is always from the flywheel. Setting on the drive looking forward. An auto...

Re: Bulkhead Sealing
In 1976 there is a good change she had only one electric bilge pump. There would also be a hand bilge pump in the hanging locker. We would suggest you put another electric automatic bilge pump in center of the boat use the hand bilge pump thru Hull for the plumbing of the water out. She should have ...

Re: Considering a 1986 F27 but...12MPH top speed?
For clarification Trojan Yachts was never a division of Bertram. Both company’s always remained completely separate. The only connection between the two company’s was the capital venture company that brought both boat company’s in mid 1985. (Invest Corp, an Arabian Investment firm, purchased both co...
