Have someone hit the switch while you put a volt meter on the starter.... no power = check back up the circuit to the switch. If you have power you get to go buy a new silenoid or starter.... (hopefully just a silenoid for $9.)

The folks that i bought my trojan from lived up state and would come down and stay on her when they came... they loved it. You've got general boat maintenance costs and worries while she sits, and dock fees. On the flip side with a house or condo you have HOA fees, and taxes, but if you want to rent...

well he owes you a thank you becuase both of mine leak and I haven't had a chance to get off my butt and find the right seal to replace them with. The previous owner put some garbage seal in that isn't even close... so I need to change it out. I'll give Bob a call this week and get some from him.......

if you guys use ice add some salt to it to keep it from clumping up... works great in coffee decanters too... ice and salt then slush around till all the grime is worked off.... old waitress/diner trick

Dont get to crazy with automatic seacock valves and hooya like that. The more items that can break on a boat will do just that. use the KISS method and you willl love her all the same.
