Hello all, I am in need of a forward hatch hinge for a 1990 10 meter mid cabin. Had some ankle biters on the boat on Sunday and one of em thought it would be cool to do chinup's using the forward hatch when it was locked open. Too bad it wasnt one of my kids I could have slapped him around a bit. No...

I like the starboard idea but I wonder if I went the McMaster Car way if I could double nut the feet and use the double nuts to level everything out?

Thoughts?

My 10 meter Mid cabin is a 1990 and has no noticeable list at all but I did install some semi permanent seats in the cockpit and there are more of them on the port side but all of the seat material I installed weighs less than 75 lbs. I don't have a generator installed yet but when I do I am thinkin...

Regarding Poli Glow- I read a lot about Poli Glow and there is a lot of people who love it and just as many who hat it. I can tell you what I have learned. Along with my 10 meter I have an older 21 Sear Ray bow rider for my kids to tool around in. The boat is in amazing shape but like all late 80&qu...

I ran across some stuff by accident that removed all but the toughest of stains. It's called Spot Shot and I found it in a aerosol can. It is intended for removing pet stains from carpet. It's not going to be cheap at $5.50 a can to do an entire interior but I did hear that they have a non aerosol v...

Maybe check with a professional and see if you can "Wet sand" then buff the runs in the finish and keep going from there rather than strip and start over?

My 10 meter Mid cabin is a 1990 with all of the options you mentioned except gen set and I have the integrated swim platform. (Crusader 7.4 gassers) It was on a travel lift last spring and weighed in at 16,800lbs. It was in water stored for a few years prior to that lift out and this year it is on t...

I pay $600 per summer for my 14x40 foot slip in the private yacht club right down the street from my home. I bought 1/12th of the yacht club 12 years ago for 15k and the annual dues take care of maintenance, taxes, and utilities. Can't beat the price or the convenience. It's literally 8 houses away ...

I re-screened my 10 meter mid cabin by gently prying out the rubber trim then gluing fiberglass screen over the hole, installing the rubber gaskets with glue then trimming the edge of the screen with an exacto knife. takes about an hour per port hole. Cleaning the old glue was the biggest part of th...

The previous posts make a lot of sense. A digital Volt meter does not draw any current but will read voltage in an open circuit which is really what you have. If you want to get creative you can use your meter in the Current mode and remove one wire form the breaker with bulbs in place and see if yo...
