Re: 10 meter dc wiring diagram
Sent you a PM. I assume the 10 meter wiring diagrams are pretty similar for the different models?

10 meter dc wiring diagram
Does anyone have a 10 meter DC panel wiring diagram? I found wires 26, 27, and 28 are disconnected and I am wondering what they are. I dug through the stack of documentation that the PO left me and found the main wiring diagram and the AC panel diagram but nothing on the DC panel. Thanks!

Re: F25 bilge blower
Yes that is possible. It is definitely a compressor and condenser. I can't imagine the condenser performs too well when it has to reject to air that is at 130 deg F from the engine heating the compartment.

Re: F25 bilge blower
Your first picture is definitely an AC unit although it appears to be an air-cooled condenser. Anyone else ever seen one of these used in the engine compartment?

Re: Sand in my pants
Any recommendations for strainers for the engines? Will these do the job? http://www.marinepartssource.com/partdetails.asp?pnumber=GOARG1250P&cat=3&catname=Plumbing%20and%20Sanitation&sub1=8&sub2=26&sub3=0&subcategory=Water%20Strainers&subcategory2=Bronze%20Strainers&...

Re: Power/Speed issue
The marina I keep the boat in is very isolated from the river so the water is very warm and very still. There are usually 50 or so manatees hanging around because of the warmer water. I'm guessing that it is very bad for growth rate.

Re: Sand in my pants
Sea strainer? You mean there's supposed to be something keeping crap from getting sucked into the engine??!?!?!
There wasn't a strainer on either engine's intake when I bought the boat... just clamshell thru-hulls. You can bet I will be adding one now.

Re: Power/Speed issue
I didn't even bother scraping the props. I have a broken wrist in a cast right now so that would've been quite a challenge. I plan on getting a haul out and bottom job in about a month. (Marinas are slammed right now and I want it to be a quick turnaround.) Speed actually got much worse while motori...

Sand in my pants
The river I boat in is only about 4 feet deep in most spots. The channel is around 10 feet deep but if you venture out of it at all you are liable to encounter some shallows. So while leaving a nice beach spot on Saturday I sucked some sand up into the port engine raw water intake. The engine temp s...

Re: Power/Speed issue
Sure enough there were a couple barnacles on the props and a lot of white squiggly looking growth. I'll post pictures I took with my underwater camera later tonight.

Re: Power/Speed issue
Thanks for all the responses! The boat is a two window per side Sedan. Each engine will reach about 3800-3900 rpm at WOT. This has always been the case. I seem to remember getting up to around 18 knots at 3400 about a year ago. Bottom job hasn't been done in about 2 years so perhaps it's time? I wil...

Power/Speed issue
Had my 10 meter out this evening and was only hitting around 14 knots at 3400 rpm. Engine temperatures and oil pressures looked good. Spark plugs are new. Bottom was cleaned by a diver 2 weeks ago. Didn't hear or feel anything unusual. What should I be looking at as possible causes for the loss of p...

I grew up near Syracuse and went to college in Troy so I spent many weekends around Lake George. I must admit that looking at your pictures makes me miss the area.
