My head discharge is located under the helm but it's only a 1 1/2" thru hull. Maybe the previous owner of your boat had digestive problems. Ouch.

Fresh Air Exhaust
Has anyone tried the Fresh Air Exhaust (FAE) on a Trojan F25 or F26. http://www.freshairexhaust.com/ How do you like it? Performance changes? Noise changes? I own a F25 1972 Trojan Express Hardtop. Chrysler FWC 318, V-drive, Paragon Trans. When I bought the boat, you couldn't carry on a screaming co...

I had the same problem with my prop. I had to hire a local marine mechanic to torch it off. They didn't cut anything, they just heated up the prop and then were able to knock it off. The mechanic charged a flat rate for prop pulling of about $70 or $80. It took him about 1/2 an hour but he got it of...

Platform Pictures
Sorry Jetsetmodern for the long delay. Here are the pictures I promised. The platform is attached using stainless steel 'U' shaped brackets. They are screwed into the transom. It doesn't look like there is backer plate on the other side of the transom though. That's probably something I'll add down ...

Here is just some info that I found for you... http://www.woodworkingforwatercraft.com/platform.html Also, here are some pictures of my boat. The swim platform was already on it when I bought it but it's similar to the ones found on the above website. http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=2/3114542518.jpg&...

1972 F25 Rudder Shaft Board
While out of the water for engine replacement, I noticed the board that spans between the two main stringers at the stern of the boat that the rudder shaft goes through was loose. The board is attached to the top of the stringers with 2 lag bolts at each stringer. So I tightened them down. I went fi...

1972 F25 Express Hull Flex
I recently replaced my RWC Chrysler 318 with a rebuilt FWC Chrysler 318 in my 1972 F25 Express Trojan (V-drive). When it was out of the water I decided to add a little anti-fouling paint to the bottom. I noticed on the galley side of the boat (starboard) just forward of the head the hull seems to fl...

Thanks of the reply Tom. My concern is will the motor if under the cockpit floor or do I have to raise the floor. The engine access door is extremely close to the flame arrestor on the Chrysler 318, in fact it has an indention for the flame arrestor. I'm concerned that a new Chevy based marine engin...

1972 F25 Repower Question
I currently have a 1972 F25 Trojan Express. The rebuilt Chrysler 318 that was put in in 1994 has pretty much given up. The motor is a 1972 model. I have Paragon transmission with a V-Drive setup. The motor is raw water cooled. I would like to repower with a Chevy 5.7L 260 HP. The 5.7L motor seems to...
