Allow me to clarify: Heefus=me=FNG post. JayBird=Jamie=my wife. I laughed when I saw her SN, and essplained to her that you usually call a naked boy a Jay Bird. Her Daddy used to call her that, which carries interesting implications  Oh, and that's our new 76 F28, on a lift, above the blue stuf...

Do you just run an engine compartment heater, or do you have a closed loop cooling system as well?

We are going to de-winterize ours in March-ish. The creeks are still frozen on the Potomac, and show no signs of letting up!

ATTN: Potomac River folks

Per my FNG post... We are on the Potomac every weekend, usually between Tim's 1 and Gilligans, and we love meeting new people. We are docked in Potomac Creek, and like to run up North, as well as down South. Look out for us this season. We are in a F28 with a blue bimini over the flybridge. We have ...

Welcome to the forum. Small world... as I keep my Trojan down in CB. I too, am so very familiar with the same places. My dock is full of Trojan boats. Look me up next time you're down. Will do. We usually hit CB on the 4th, and randomly otherwise. We love Gilligans, but tend to stay closer to home ...

Re: FNG

Welcome aboard. What is a GSD? Betcha a golfer told you boats are a waste of money! A GSD is a German Shepherd Dog. His name is Tiny  I have been a water rat my whole life. Dad grew up commercial fishing in Southeastern Missouri, and he raised us on the Potomac. This is my biggest boat to date...

FNG

Let me start by saying that boats are a waste of money...or so everyone tells me. We are on the Potomac River, out of King George county. We can usually be found anchored off of Tim's 2, Gilligans, Colonial Beach, or fishin up in the creeks. We just picked up a beautiful '76 F28 from a couple that b...
