Bob,
I've tried responding a number of times to your PM but the message never leaves my outbox. I hope I am not inundating you with the same message.
Please let me know if you received my reply.
Thanks,
Jim

Matt,
Sounds like you were patient and got a great deal.

That's a nice looking boat but a bit of a haul to Pittsburgh. I'm not sure what's involved with bringing a boat across the border and registering it in the states. Has anyone ever done that?

Michael, That's a great story! Hopefully I'll be writing a similar note soon comfortably from the solid deck of my own F32. My story from this weekend is that I lined up a number of boats to look at in the Baltimore area which is about a five hour drive each way. The one I was most interested in was...

Thank you both for the feedback. I've gotten pretty good at finding the soft spots on the decks.

Regarding the stringers, is there any area in the lower portion of the boat (galley or V-berth) that that makes viewing the stringers possible?

Shopping for an F-32

I have been shopping for an F-32 since last year. This weekend I am heading to Baltimore to look at a few. I've learned quite a bit in the past year on what to look for on an F-32. There is one thing that I don't know anything about and am hoping someone can help me out. What is the best way to exam...

Hi Folks, I joined the forum in the Fall of last year and have been extremely appreciative of the wealth of information that is made available. I'm still a newbie when it comes to Trojans so I'm taking from the knowledge offered here and I'm not able to offer much back. I just saw that we can make a...

The layout looks great. All of the detail items that you mentioned in your original post have a great deal of appeal from my perspective. There's one other data point that I am generally curious about and that is how many of each model are still around. I'm guessing that the challenge would be findi...

True, although some of the F32's have cored decks and same have all fiberglass decks. I was wondering if anyone knows what year they moved from the cored decks to the all fiberglass.

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks for the picture. That is very helpful. I believe that one that I looked at must have been a conduit. It was much thicker than what is showing in the picture that you posted. On an unrelated note, does anyone know what year the F32 went to all fiberglass construction. I looked at a 1990 that t...

Thanks guys. I think the one I am looking at may be a wiring conduit as it has hydraulic steering.

I looked at an F32 that has a support rod that goes between the bulkhead in the salon and the shelf to the left of the lower helm. I looked through a number of ads on Yachtworld to see if I could find other examples and there are a few that I saw that also have this support rod. They look to me like...
