That's funny! My sister used Powerpoint to design her summer cottage, right down to the exterior colors!

Re: Head question

Yuck. You definitely need a new tank, if available, at a minimum. Have you tried contacting Dometic/Sealand to see what the scoop is on this unit? http://www.dometic.com/enie/Internation ... o-SeaLand/

Re: I'll show you mine if you show me yours....

I have the required period correct switches including the Onan start/stop switch in my panel, and I have an unused thru-hull in the transom like a factory genny exhaust would be in this perios F-32, so like I say, its a friggin' mystery...... The unused thru-hull in the transom is from, ummmmm, dam...

That boat looks really rough. Must make you very sad, Paul.

Very odd about not being able to look at it.

Re: away but not disappeared

Cuz everyone is too busy complaining about the economy to do anything about it?  That and the environmental laws. Nothing like NY where they just build roads wherever they want. Here, we discuss new roads for 40 years, decide not to build them, and then keep on talking about them. Hey,...

Re: away but not disappeared

Wow, I had no idea. As much as Vermonters complain about the economy, this seems to defy that. For the past 3-4 years, the marinas have had some space. Far from empty, but space. Have you ruled out the NY side? I guess you'd better grab what you can and get on some waiting lists for next year. As fo...

Re: away but not disappeared

That would be fun to see you in the bay! No room at CM? A little further north - have you checked Ladd's Landing at the north end of Grand Isle? Nice place; we know several people who keep their boats there. We kept our Grady White there in the mid-90's. Different management then. Eventually, we bit...

Re: thoughts on carpet on the back deck? does anyone

We've had good luck with indoor-outdoor carpet. If you cut it really snug, it stays in place pretty well. Don't use rubber-backed carpet!

Nothing on the spare breaker as far as I know, but we never opened it up to check.

Re: TVs

We did use the fold-down table for the TV sometimes, but usually had it on a small plastic garden furniture type table (that John always hated, but I never wanted to spring for a nice table. Besides, I could stand on it when I needed a step stool, hose it down, etc. But I digress.) Both the fold-dow...
