Re: TVs

Must be nice to be on a reliably quiet lake. Yes, I know the shelf. We had a small TV on board - might have been a 9" - CRT - before everything went digital - and it sat on a small table (16" x 16"?) on the starboard side of the salon between two chairs. When underway, we set it on th...

Re: Who has been using their Trojan?

Great pics, Michael! Such a gorgeous lake. I see the v-berth floor is a favorite spot for your dogs, too. Our beagle loved it there, and also on a folded-up flannel sheet under the dinette table. Speaking of the dinette table, how did the refinishing turn out? We may launch this week. Hull waxing is...

What keeps it from falling off/tipping over? Maybe the lake never gets that rough?

That is amazing progress! You've done some projects that a lot of people *never* get to!

Re: Shower Curtain

You're right - the clips are an RV item. You can buy any shower curtain and cut the length as needed.

Re: New holding tank installation

Yes, the Sealand unit is nice. It's marginally larger than the Thetford, so important to check dimensions carefully.

Re: New holding tank installation

The Thetford 365 is a nice simple system that just works. With the deck pumpout, what's not to like?

Re: New holding tank installation

If space is limited, you might want to consider an MSD version of a porta-potti, e.g. http://www.thetford.com/Home/Products/PortableToiletsHome/PortaPotti365MSD/tabid/160/Default.aspx. This unit can be plumbed to an on-deck pumpout fitting, so don't let the portable designation discourage you. It ca...

Re: Allen Sr.

Don't give up hope. A 55YO client had a stroke in mid-January. He couldn't move his right arm or leg, he could barely talk, and he couldn't swallow. Less than three months later, he is home and even back to work one day a week with phone calls and emails in between. His right arm still needs work, b...

Re: Uncovered

Mystery Oil - LOL! Some things transport easier than others. Glad she's running well except for that damn generator. Oh well - impeller - you're probably asking yourself why the hell you didn't change it last year when when you were fixing what I now forget was causing it not to run at all. Honestly...

We've been to Baltimore Boating Center. I'm not surprised about the error in the ad.
