I thought that, but I have no idea how they managed to install it, or how I would get it out. I will probably try to take the whole thru hull out by unscrewing it from the outside, but I'm concerned that it is jammed in there.

The Internationals are awesome boats, and the 12 M is huge. Although the boat looks pretty good, I would suggest a thorough survey. I don't know how that works with ebay. For that price, I would think you are getting the deal of the century if its in decent shape, especially with the diesels.
