Superbowl madness

Who's going to be watching it? Who is going to win?? Did you know that Shaun Suisham, the Pittsburgh Steelers placekicker has his first shot at a Super Bowl title. And if the game is within three points near the end, his field kick could determine the winner. And...He is Canadian from Wallaceburg, a...

What they did when they replaced our starboard engine was wire tie the old meter to the new engine and install a new meter. I am confused, why would they tie an old meter to a new engine? Wouldn't the new engine have 0(zero) hours? What am I missing. Forgive this noob, but it just doesn't make sense.

Some people do make a difference

I wanted to share this with all of you. The link is of a childhood friend of mine. Some people go through through life existing, others take life by the horns and try to make a difference. We are the same age, we were neighbours and played on ski-doos and fished together. He did this for peace and c...

I ended up having to carry (and maintain, and insure) it for a while after I put it up for sale Those costs have to be deducted from the sale price to give a true picture of what your net was. BUT... we are looking at mainly depressed prices in the US market, dictating what boats are selling for ac...

Ok, so I went to pick up the windlass today, save shipping and don't have to worry about damage, or getting lost in the post office. Was 1 hour drive away, so it was good to get away. THAT was all I was supposed to walk away with...DUH BUT... (there is always a but) Bought a FX-11 Fortress anchor, r...

I have been seeing alot of guys lately trying to buy boats cheap and flip them because of the current market. What I don't understand is if the boat was for sale for months at a lower price what warrants the higher price? a wash down? Willingness to wait. If you decide, or need, to sell very quickl...
