ok I got some pics up , the one pics of the cabin bilge area is what I was inquiring about you will see three sections on the cabin floor that when completed by trojan you wouldnt have access to now with the new wood should I leave access holes to get these areas ? have to excuse the facebook pics p...

no it all looks original , the screws are all petina covered and brass. I plan on bringing the old pieces back in the boat tomorrow night and get some pics. I do have the hardwood "ledges" like you had mentioned. actually throughout the whole boat they used these hardwood blocking , ledges...

not sure if I should keep posting but boat is a 1979f26 now... I started to trace out all the plywood that was inside the entire cabin area and had real good luck as the existing plywood was mostly in tack and could be traced a few I can work with but the question is this. nice bilge room there, I would however have eating off your floor once the engines were pulled by the looks of your pic. I think I could open an oil refinerly AND a toxic dump from I'm looking at in mine will have the pics up by end of week

cleaning out the carcass

well its a hot wsunny day and a great day to be on the boat. Sadly I'm on the boat and on the hard!!! I just finished removing all of the plywood inside the cabin on my 1979 f26 and have left only the three plywood stringer forms and am now trying to no avail to clean the inside hull and bilge area....
