pity you missed it....

S/S bolts gall when you tighten them. They tighten fine but after being the manifold and heat cycles they'll break when you go to remove them..trust me on this... stick to grade 8

drain down raw water and Anti-freeze, the gaskets are solid with only bolt holes maybe a weep hole on some you'll need two per side and new S/S block plates. 12 point sockets and be had at HD, Lowe's and Sears....and yes Jamie's best toy store Snap-On and I replace bolts, grade 8. NO S/S bolts....
