I personally think for the cruising that you've stated, the 1409s would be fine. I replaced them on my boat, (350 Chevys) a few years ago. Welcome to the forum. Which engines do you have? Crusader 454's? Crusader use fuel filters (2) and a water separator for each engine. Okay, just got the info from my good friend and a Kohler dealer and tech. He said your genney uses the NGK BP5ES spark plug.

Todd, I took that info from my Kohler manual. But, these generators used both Kawasaki and Honda engines so there may be a difference in the head design...

Your genny takes a NGK BPR4HS, L92YC in Champion or R43CFS in AC Delco.

Sounds like that F36 from the Hampton Virginia area that was listed a few years back. As Paul mentioned, a tad low on HP for that 36.

That's good to know, glad everything turned out well for the most part. Where on the Potomac did you boat? I'm in Colonial Beach, so I'm very familiar with both the river and the bay.
