Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread

All I can say about the hot water heater is "WOW", seriously "WOW"! you are not being too picky! love the rub rail trim tab set up! LOL. The most important thing is the fact that you can discern what is correct and what is "Unacceptably Creative engineering"! You are ho...

Re: Leaky "10G" Plumbing Fittings

Thanks Harris! I've been looking at boats online (yes I know I'm clinically insane!) Just trying to get a feel for what the market is. It amazes me to see 13 meter express boats going for 50-60k and newer 23 ft center consoles going for 60-70k! Just saw a new 2016 33ft sea ray on boat trader for $36...

Re: Leaky "10G" Plumbing Fittings

That hole is from the factory. It's below the sink in the head. This picture was before I replaced the drain hose. The elongated hole made it much easier to run the new hose with a tight radius to the thru hull fitting. I believe That hole was cut with a router and a template. You should be able to ...

Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread

Should be 8 to 10 screws holding each tab on. Mine were #3 head Philips sheet metal screws. Boats for sale. Just turned down a offer of 34k cash on it. Decided that I'm not desperate, if someone makes me a reasonable offer I'll consider it, if not I'm keeping it and will hopefully have money to put ...

Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread

I would bet money that all you have is a leak from one of the trim tab mounting screws. all that "bump out" is a piece of hard wood backing for the trim tab screws that is glassed in(using that term loosely since the glass is basically there to just hold the wood and not seal it from the b...

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.

Its all good. naturally I wasnt planning on putting all this effort into renovating her only to sell her. I completed her. It was a project that I started with my father before he passed away and I was able to see it through, properly, without cutting any corners! Still cant believe I actually did i...

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. I was hoping you guys could give me your opinions on something? Although my children enjoyed the boat this past summer my 10 year old daughter has decided she doesn't care for spending the night on it. Its hard to justify the expense and upkeep of a 33 foot boat w...
