10 meter anchor windlass

Installed a Lewmar Pro series 1000 on the boat this week. Was not that hard to do, boat was wired from the factory. Removed the hatch cover for the anchor locker and installed 3/4" starboard with a backer from pulpit to bulkhead. Removed the mirror on the forward bulkhead and put in a 8"x1...

Big D, isolater is UL listed and ABYC approved. Local codes do not pertain to boat systems on board only supplies to them as stated by NFPA /NEC.

Rooferdave, the isolater is installed on the ground of your incoming shorepower circuit. Diodes in the unit only allow current flow in one direction so it isolates your system from others. Remember electric will go to the closest ground source, taking your boat out of this link will save your underw...

Burned plugs means to outlet is worn and not making contact properly. Was having the same issue with zincs being rapidly destroyed. Installed a galvanic isolater 2 years ago and problem went away. Lots of old sailboats near me with old and spliced cords that I know are the issue. Community dock so I...

Okay I cleaned out the anchor locker and did locate a drain hole in the bottom center. Has been painted over thru the years. Removed the mirror on forward bulkhead and cut in a 8"x 12" access hatch. Also removed hatch on deck and cut out the molded in vee notch that would support a anchor....

10 meter anchor locker

Out today and dropped anchor to relax only to find water inside the locker. I removed the base board in the locker to find it totaly full, used a bucket to empty out. Thought these drained into the bilge, I mean it was full. If no drain has any one drilled the hull and installed a drain? Will dig in...

On the back of the tach is a small selector switch rotate this around a few times and recheck. Corrosion builds here and give a poor connection.

I used Petit zinc coat in the spring (3 coats) and just hauled on friday. No barnacles on props or shafts tabs were dirty but not bad. I am now a firm believer in Petit zinc coat.
Boat had sat for over 3weeks prior to haul out so I thought it would be bad.
