I finally took the swim platform and ladder off and have begun to sand, sand and sand some more it is turning out great. I will be starting to put the Sikkens Cetol on in the next day or so and was wondering how much Cetol has i taken to do the swim platform for you guys that have done it.

Yes I have the 350 small blocks, One of my motors is no good and I have had no luck this whole season finding anyone that is willing to work on them or take it out, so I figure with these 2 being out already I could have them rebuilt over the winter and installed over the winter then I`m good to go ...

My plan is to take ...

Re: Looks Like a new motor.

Well I took the plunge today and started to remove the the top engine parts, my plan was to dis assemble and replace gaskets in the hopes it is a head gasket or something. Re: Looks Like a new motor.

the engines are in the rear in the AFT cabin, looks as if someone has had to get them out before as the rear seems to have been cut out and re patched at one point to get the engines out. Just saw this this week .

Re: Looks Like a new motor.

Well I`m still having motor issues, I am having absolutely no luck finding a marine mechanic to come look at my motor or even getting a return phone call for that matter. I have had a few friends that are pretty into cars come back out and help me out which has been great but still havn`t found the ...

Looks Like a new motor.

Well looks like after everything a new, or newer motor is going to be needed to replace the port side, Had a few people take a look at things, all things point to cracked block ( this is not confirmed by a marine mechanic ) but with the amount of water I`m getting in the oil it seems to be what ever...
