I've replaced my 60w engine room lifts with LED strips, and added two more. Nice and bright and draws less than the original set-up.

You are fortunate you identified he issue before it became a real problem.

I applied two coats of Interlux ACT over the weekend. Hope to get her back in the water this week. Year-round in the water in Florida requires an annual application along with monthly cleaning.

Insurance -Survey

I went through this a few weeks ago. United Marine Underwriters allowed me to get an in-water survey for a liability-only policy required by the marina. The policy premium is $326/yr.

Windshield Curtain

Does anyone have interior windshield privacy curtains? If so, can you please post a few pics showing installation details?

Thanks!

My fresh water system also reeked horribly when I bought the boat. I drop a one-inch chlorine tablet into the tank upon filling. I buy them from pool suppliers. I also do not use the water for consumption. I do use it for washing and showering, once the stench was gone. When I first got the boat I r...

Engine Room Cleaning

Previous owner left me with an engine room that hasn't been cleaned in years. Any ideas on cleaning her up would be greatly appreciated. Is pressure washing a viable alternative? Do I risk water damage to the 671's?

Thanks for all of the valuable info presented here everyday!

Thank you for the complimentary comments. The hull was painted with dark navy Awlgrip last year by the previous owner. So far I am thrilled with her. Mechanically she checks out good. I need to replace the aft A/C, update some electronics and update interior. I look forward to reporting progress and...
