Another tip is to take a cable tie and slowly cinch it onto the new impeller while rotating the fins of the impeller in the direction you want them to end up. Once you have the impeller half way into the housing cut t...

Side bolster recover tip

I have a 10 meter Mid cabin and replaced the side bolster material and made new seats for the stern. I am not a fisherman so floor space was less important to me than lounge space. I did all of the work myself for less than $500.00 if you are interested in some pictures I'd be glad to pass some alon...

Aaron, that sounds like good news. God Speed to you. On a side note. I have been in the Cancer treatment field for 25 years in the Radiation therapy segment as an engineer and I work with the machines you are most likely getting treated on and although I have never been a patient (yet) I can empathi...

You can never have too many "Zinc"s on the boat. The Zincs act as sacrificial metal and keep electrolysis from eating up your running gear and other thru hull fittings. Keeping a boat in a marina with all of the shore power and stray current in the water creates a battery and the zincs are...

Mark, she looks outstanding. I bet you will never get tired of the compliments you are sure to get. Take pride in all of your hard work and keep us updated. I'm sure you will have some sorting to do with some nuisance issues after all of the work you have done but that is half of the fun of owning a...

Instead of gifting a lot of our grain away in the name of being a good neighbor Perhaps we buy our foreign oil with barrels of grain instead of dollars. That might level the playing fields a little. (Oil and growing fields that is)

On my 1990 10 Meter Mid Cabin the holding tank is under the V berth and th pump out s on the forward starboard side just where the bow rail starts to angle in toward the center of the boat. You might want to get your hands on an fiber optic scope. it's a fiber optic type of gizmo that allows you to see into small places. Kinda like the things doctors stick in your ear but with a long extension. It might be that your tanks are fine and over the years you have picked up rust from the tan...

You could always mount it on one of the spokes fairly close to the center of the wheel (hub) that would eliminate the need to bend down but like the other post I never even touch my wheel in close quarters.
