Re: Need a Litte Personal Advice - Move a 1990 F32?
First I agree with Gettaway, fixing the gas leak should be number one on the list. second, if I read this right you use this boat as your home, so without it you will need to find a temp place to rent while you shop for a new boat. Is that right? So, if you put your boat up for sale you will need to...

Re: Advice on buying 1980 F-30 fixer upper?
RWS is right, A lot of people can't separate dreams from reality and look at a old boat and see themselves behind the wheel and bouncing off of waves. Down here in Florida I would say 80% of the project boats never hit the water. years go by, money gets spent, and the owner ends up selling the boat ...

Re: Saw a Trojan on Sea Hunt
From what I know they ordered two boats for the show and Lloyd Bridges used one for personal use. They also ordered half of another one to film the cabin shots. Over the years several people have claimed that they have the TV show boat and they all say they are restoring the boat for tours. Its hard...

Re: F36 sliding door paint
I had it done when I painted the boat. It's a job for sure. Lots of little spots that need to be sanded. Is the paint peeling away or can you get by with just a cover coat.

the engine is off set a inch or two the strut remains center on my 1975 f26 the engine is closer to the port engine stringer than the starboard engine stringer my 1978 chris craft 22 cutlass was the same way, this is done to help single engine boats steer better. So with out measuring to see if the...

Re: possible engine replacement
Many have done the swap and never heard of a issue , I have never notice a offset as the shaft always came out centered to the keel . Anyone else run into this ? I have heard of this but I have never run into a problem. Both my old 26 and my current 28 Chris Craft have been repowered with opposite ...

Re: possible engine replacement
Having done exactly what you are planning I would measure the replacement engine at least 5 times. Including the motor mount and shaft coupling locations. I had to change the prop, trans pump, intake manifold, flame arrestor, and exhaust manifolds. After all that I still had to cut a notch out of th...
