You are correct, I am in Pittsburgh. I am looking at freshwater boats only. The boat that I am looking at is on Lake Erie and is priced at 12K. I have been told by the owner that the engines have just been rebuilt and have 30 hours. They look very clean, fresh paint, new hoses, etc. I did not hear t...

Thank you all for the input. Sounds like I've come across a bit of a basket case and need to move on. I had some pictures of some of the problem areas that I was going to post in case anyone would like to see. I can't seem to figure out how. I will look into how to post pictures and go from there.[/...

Hi Folks, We looked at a 1977 F32 today and loved it. Overall it looked in pretty nice shape. Newly rebuilt Chrysler 360's, flybridge deck replaced a few years ago, new AC unit, new GPS, new engine synchronizer, new hot water tank, and quite a few other nice features. I am not very familiar with the...

I have not looked at an F26 but I seriously considered an F30. The layout was very nice and the space overall was very good for a boat of that size. The forward deck was soft and needed replaced which I was not interested in taking on. I looked for another F30 and could not find one in decent shape ...

You bring up a lot of great points and thank you. I've raised most of the same points but was unaware of the issue with the side deck. I have not been on a Santego yet but we have an appointment to look at one. We will spend a fair amount of time locking through so moving fore and aft is a concern. ...

Thank you all for the great information. Sounds like the F32 lends itself perfectly to my plans. No chance of 2'-3' seas and most likely the biggest following sea I will encounter is any swell that runs up on me after a quick slow down on WOT. Regarding a houseboat, I considered this and looked at a...

F32 Stability
Hi Folks, I am considering an F32 as a river cruiser. It's a great looking boat with all the space, power, and accomodations that I will need on the river. I have read a number of reports about handling issues with the F32's in rougher water and being bow heavy. To that end, I have read even more ab...

Trojan Owners - Pittsburgh, PA
I was curious how many folks on the forum have a Trojan on one of the rivers in Pittsburgh.
Thanks,
