i think we all know all this. but at the same time the inspector has a duty to do thier job and do it well. and a lot don't :x and the prove is in the reading of this form and others

yeap the bypass system is in the filter housing, is in there just in case the filter gets glogged up

just a thought does your oil filter system have a automatic bypass system in it. mind has them it's a ball and spring valve that could be getting stuck at low rpm after running at high rpm.
