My forward bilge has had water since inspected and the boat was purcahsed. The old owner was supposed to have fixed this but it now looks like they did a temporary fix. Surveyor indicated it was not a concern. There is about two inches of water in the bilge? Is this normal? Should the bilges always...

My 77 F36 has the model number last (460) so did my F30
numbers are not stamped but put in the mold and some times not to straight this may help

you should be able to remove the sender and get a tube to the bottom of the tank . becarful of sparks

yes you can tie them together in fact if can shorten them it would be better . like if the wire goes from the alt to the gage to the battery you can just run it from the alt to the battery . but you need to see how it is run first . remeber the shorter the better >

They are out dated.oil leakers smokers and I love them. not made any more but so many were made that parts will be avalable forever still a big markit . in low H.P. ratings they will run forever in high HP rating (turbo aftercooled etc) it is a diffrent story . what is the HP rating ? get a surrvey ...

every thing rosjo said is corect and I may add that the fuel burn on the 42 sounds to low ( both gas and diesel ) even per engine unless this is a 7 knot boat

Thanks. I'm looking at a couple of 42 footers. One is gas, one is diesel. The diesel also has a flybridge. Other than that, they're identical. The only problem is, the diesel is $25,000 more. Is it worth it? I've been warned of the dangers of gas (explosion, etc.) but don't know how much of a risk ...

Boat us when up 40% or so on me last year (july) due to hurricans
and I live in Va I change to Nationwide (have home owners and auto with them ) old boat us 1200. ( to go up ) nationwide 900. with more coverage
