up in flames
Having been a police officer for 32 years I do not belive in coincdences, enought said. Fires can happen with no one there but you would be absolutely amazed at the number of hit and runs that occur in front of people's homes in the middle of the night with no debris left. A simple quetion ends it a...

I am about to rehab mine, it has not screws like I see in the picture. I assmume it is held together with screws ran horizantally and hidden in last layer by plugs. I have 3 arcs broken in middle where last owner must have backed into something, but now verticle screws other than the ones from under...

Yep Paul,
The suggestion of using coleman fuel (white gas) in a stove meant for alcohol or something else would be most likely (kaboom)
We have an armistice.

As I said I touched off a torrent of comments regarding. I am going to use the electric as I have a genset as well and will avoid all the potential evils. "IF I WERE TO USE THE ALCOHOL STOVE", it for sure would be the non pressurized type, or "IF I WERE TO CHANGE TO PROPANE" it w...

Newbie of the year
I am absolutely gratified thath this group feels the same as I do about AL Gore, but I think his head is too soft to break even 1/2 in of ice. I wouldn't need him for another year ayn f28 is in reahab for at least a year at my farm, but will resurrect is. Gathering the needed parts and ideas.

AC Control
Thanks Eric, I have a used digital and control box coming that should work, but if it turns out to be unworkable, I now have another option which looks like a good one. I will eventually post my results, I have a 3 cyl diesel ginny going in at the same time so my work is cut out for me. Of interest ...

I am pretty sure we are talking about the cruisaire made by dometic, If you have the digital control system I would be interested in talking to you about it. I have and extra system now that needs a compressor and would not be interested in that part of it, but do need the contols. Let me know. Than...

Got it not sure if I can use all of it but may have to create my own controls and the basic device is a good starting point. Your postage went back to you in the mail today.

Havn't seen a squirrl yet develop a taste for shotgun lead. It is not good for boats either so shoot him before or after his mahogany meal.

Thanks for the tip, I have not yet removed those panels, I assume you are talking about the fly bridge panels port and starboard. As they do not seem very secure I bet I have some wood rot behind as you mentioned. Will certainly look at that. The boat is in rehab on cribbing at my shop at present co...
