Re: Engine sound deadening....

Hi Paul,
Doesn't have a specific rubber layer, its made up of chopped foam and what seems possibly like neoprene rubber. I'll find out what the brand was and let you know. I can tell you that it comes in approximately 2' x 3' sheets and I think that I paid 30 something a sheet.

Re: Engine sound deadening....

Hi Paul, I started working on this exact problem a couple of years ago in the rear of the cockpit where it was easiest to access. The undersides of the cockpit floors already had some sound proofing done to them but I found that the open areas between the cockpit liner and the outer hull acted as an...

Re: Here we go...Design/ Build Arch

What gauge aluminum sheet will you be using, I'm guessing it'll be fairly heavy to prevent it from warping during the welding process. Will you be powder coating it when finished? I had my davits done in white probably 12 years ago and they still look great today.

Easy to Service

A couple of years ago I started a project to fabricate a new set of plastic tanks to replace the existing fresh water and black water tanks that would be less work and strain to service. This idea came on the heels of having to change the sanitary hoses for the second time since restoring the boat i...

Re: Front cabin window seals?

When I bought my boat, the plexiglass front windows were held in with what looked like clear exterior window & door silicone and they leaked like a sieve. The rubber seals were long gone before I owed this boat. I had to break out the windows from the frames and removed them in pieces, then clea...

Re: Side windows on bridge F-26

Do you mean cockpit windows (sliders)? If so, you have to hold the plastic "H" track stationary and slide the glass out of it. Top then bottom, then the glass will lift right out of the frame.

Re: F30 express Stave bearing size?

Best to wait until you can confirm the measurements however I'm thinking that you'll have 1"x 1 1/4" x 4" Morse Blackfish in the struts.
