I'm kinda with Aaron on this...I love the older boats. Nothing NEW gets my blood pumping. I think I'd want a late model F-44 totaly updated. I love the 671N that many of them had so just a top to bottom rebuild there.

Great looking boat!! Congratulations. I would be betting the water would be coming in around the keel. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I would guess all the floor boards are removable in the cabin. I had a leak in my 1965 36 at the forward keel. Not much of a leak at all sitting but underway, it was ...

If you decide to take the headliner down, glue some rigid foam boards (the non-hydroscopic type) up against the cabin roof underside before replacing the headliner. That was done to my tri-cabin and I can tell you it really helps with the heat / AC loads and overall comfort throughout the boat. Exc...

Some folks I know won't head back to Spring Cove since the Naughty Gull closed. I heard that Trevor put the screws to the Gull's owner in a few ways, which forced her to closed the doors. It was a fun place and good food. That would be pretty accurate unfortunatley...Spring Cove is still a very nic...

Tri cabin owners...questions on interior...

In contemplating the purchase of a late model 36 tri cabin model, I have come up with a few of those questions that you think of as you try to go to sleep. I initially want to replace the interior of a tri as follows... I want to replace the carpet, fridge, master head sole, the master mattress, the...

Welcome to the Forum. Don't forget to post some pics when you make your purchase. As Vice Commodore this year one of my duties is planning the Yacht Clubs' summer cruises and I'm thinking of the Solomons. Any recommendations? Ron 8) Hi Ron, I kept my tri fly at Crisfield for 3 years when I owned he...

Hi Aaron, Not that one...don't care for the last model year layout as much. Don't want to let the cat out of the bag yet but it is a 1985 model in exceptional condition. Your a smart guy, I'm sure you can figure it out. One more hint...it has an aluminum arch and looks like yours. Thats all i'm gon...

Hi all, Been lurking for a while and decided to join

Hi all, I've been lurking in the shadows for a while and decided to join this great site. The support and civilized behavior of all of you, as well as the "stepping up to the plate" that I just witnessed decided it for me. Kudo's to you all. I don't have my credit card right now or I would...
