F36 swim platform

Post by Targojoe »

Hi all. I am installing a swim platform on my 79F 36. I never had one before so is there anyone that can tell me roughly how high above the waterline it should be? If you could post some pics to that would be great! Thanks, Joe

The F36 next to mine has one , if I can remember I will take a photo and mess distance off the water . Painted Water lines vary boat to boat . Mines the same year and there is a big diff .

Its just slightly lower then the spray rails on the side ,maybe 3/4" . Sorry about my thumb . A F32 looked about the same place (no spray rails )

The photo Paul posted looks about the same as ours. Just guessing, the platform is about 8-10 inches above the waterline.

That would depend on how wide of a platform . From what I remember the type bracket Trojan used , you could use them for different angles

I’ve seen a few that use a piece of teak along with some stainless... I think I’m just looking for a good quality aftermarket stainless set up if anyone has any suggestions
