Dry-docked

Need to start engines on land........1974 Trojan Sports-fisherman flybridge.....Any advice as to easiest method.

Need to start twin engines for just a short time to let potential buyer listen to the engines run.

I believe less than a minute not an issue. Others here might agree or disagree. If you have a day or two wait for others to reply. Is the boat at a marina or your back yard.

Make sure you have water going to it and you should be fine you can put the intake hose in a bucket or you can use one of these https://www.wholesalemarine.com/moeller ... e-flusher/



Impellers don't like to run dry as do exhausts systems

absent any water, you'll quickly burn up your impellers

my system is plumbed to do a freshwater flush from a garden hose using quick disconnects.

I do this for both engines & genny when I put her on the lift.
