F54 trojan power

Post by larryeddington »

Hi friends,

Don't know why I should look at it but there is a 77 F54 here on Texoma that one "me" could get for a song. Have not looked at it yet but someone has and they said it has twin 671 Detroits. There is one for sale in Tn that has Cummins 905s. Does anyone know what engines come in them. I think they only made 7 it would need all the power could get. This is just what I need another project but my son and I enjoy working on them.

Both the Detroit 671 and a Cummins V8 were offered , I can't recall if it was a 555 or 903 . Both good engines but parts for the Cummins can be harder to find .

Sent TRJ number to Bob to get the particulars, I think 671 is what is in this one. Not sure about planning hull etc.
