1972 F25 Express Hull Flex

Post by vabeach1234 »

I recently replaced my RWC Chrysler 318 with a rebuilt FWC Chrysler 318 in my 1972 F25 Express Trojan (V-drive). When it was out of the water I decided to add a little anti-fouling paint to the bottom. I noticed on the galley side of the boat (starboard) just forward of the head the hull seems to flex a little too easily. I investigated the inside and there doesn't seem to be a problem on the inside of the hull. The stringers still seem attached and glassed in well. I was wondering if this is just the nature of the boat? Has anyone seen this on their F25? It doesn't seem right to me. In a month or so I was going to remove the galley and investigate further and possibly glass in some additional stringers and small bulk heads. Any thoughts?

Thanks.
Ken
