BOUGHT A TROJAN F30

Post by lawyerdave71 »

Hello,

New to the site. Bought my Dad's 1979 F30 and got a great deal!!

Mechanics are in awesome shape.

Boat needs fiberglass / gelcoat repairs due to damage from Sept. Gale on Lake Michigan.

Boat needs TLC, wax, paint, wax, oil wood, wax, and some more wax. I hate waxing!

Interior will be redone. I will take lots of pics to post.

Any F30 owners install a holding tank?? If so where did you put it? Toliets with a holding tank are hard to fine. I found 2, but holding tank probably more appropriate way to go.

Also, any ideas as to where to obtain replacement hatch cover for the bow? Mine is solid fiberglass but I see the exterior top needs gel coat work. Probably better to replace it with a window/vent type.

I looked online, but haven't really found anything suitable.

Love this site - I have learned lots!!!
