I have not been able to locate Crusader original parts. Would you know of a supplier?

There is a local boat parts house near me that can get all the items I need at a good price. Alot of you liked Osco, he can only get Barr at the price quoted. The one advantage with the Barr product is each major casting comes pre primed and painted and comes with gaskets and mounting hardware. It looks like they are produced here in the states. If you guys were doing this would you use Barr?

Thanks

Best choose is Ossco

Barr is you best option price wise since Barr comes with most of the gasket you need for each part. Note that your manifolds are part of the closed system and most of the time do not need to be changed. The risers and elbows are were the problems starts since these are raw water cooled. If you would like help on installation/questions or on pricing we carry both Osco, Barr and Crusader manifolds, risers and elbows.

Since my engines are RWC aren't the manifolds RWC?

Yes, if your engines are RWC then yes the manifolds would be as well. But all the Crusader 454 that Trojan sold were all closed systems. If the 454 you have are all RWC then someone removed the exchangers and turned them into RWC engines.

So if that is the case then the manifolds should be changed out.

Please feel free to call us if we can help over the phone with questions.
