flame arrester

Swapped both carbs to new elderbrock #1409 ( 1981 chrysler 318 cid ) Now i need 2 new flame arresters. Looking for a tall brass element 2" or more. Any suggestions ?. Already looked at sierra.

You may want to check out the K&N marine Flame Arrestors. These are supposed to increase horsepower due to the engine being able to breath better. I would imagine they would do that at higher RPM's. Just a thought... I will probably look in to one for my application this spring.
